A Spirit of Community Giving

At Dore + Whittier, community involvement is important to our culture. We support and encourage our team members in Newburyport, MA, and Burlington, VT to give back to those in need as we regularly partner with organizations that provide support and resources to the homeless community, and those experiencing food insecurity.

We Are One Team

Spending time together outside of the workplace is central to our culture. Whether through firm-sponsored events such as our annual all company weekend in Stowe, VT, cruises on Lake Champlain, beach gatherings, trivia contests with other firms or the more day to day informal opportunities of connecting with each other like our Mid-day Motion activities that encourage folks to take a break from work to exercise and catch up with colleagues, these opportunities allow us to unite with each other which is essential for team development, mutual trust and our overall success!

Elias Grijalva

Elias values the work-life balance that is encouraged at D+W as it allows for quality time with his family and focus on his well-being while carrying out fulfilling work. As an Assistant Project Manager in the OPM group since 2022, Elias has had the opportunity to see communities’ goals and visions evolve from drawings on paper into tangible progress on site. He has gained a deep appreciation for all the work that takes place long before construction even begins.
